Memphis Sixth Graders Moved by Pre-MLK-Day Field Trip

Today, sixth graders from The Wilson School in Clayton are enjoying the day off of school in observance of Martin Luther King Day. Your Memphis moving professionals are sure that the kids are enjoying the extended weekend, but these particular sixth graders will surely be paying their respects to the late MLK following a field trip to the Civil Rights Museum. Wilson students visited what was once the Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in 1968. Kids were awestruck during the field trip, especially as King’s famous “I See the Promise Land” speech was played on a portable stereo while students gathered below the front porch of room 306 (the sight of King’s assassination.) Your Memphis relocation specialists are glad The Wilson School of Clayton’s sixth graders were able to truly appreciate the meaning of today’s observance. These students definitely earned the day off of school today if you ask your Memphis area movers!
