While some of the nation’s real estate markets have shown it’s more financially responsible to pursue a mortgage and become a homeowner, the Memphis movers wanted to share the recent report by Forbes that says Memphis is among the Top 10 US Cities where buying a home is more cost effective than renting. Memphis is joined by the likes of Oklahoma City, Okla., Atlanta, Ga., and three cities in Ohio: Dayton, Toledo and Cleveland.
These areas are sound investments in comparison to cities like San Francisco and New York, where permits and regulations limit the available housing that can be built in the metropolitan area.
