Thinking of skipping Thanksgiving this year because your move to Memphis has you mentally and physically exhausted? Forget the prepping, cooking and cleaning, and head out to one of Memphis’ wonderful local restaurants to celebrate the holiday! To help you decide where you should make reservations, All My Sons Moving & Storage of Memphis has a list of Memphis restaurants open Thanksgiving and the special menu items they will be offering.
1. The Peabody Hotel – This beautiful hotel in Memphis is featuring three separate Thanksgiving dining events this holiday season.
- The Mezzanine – Thanksgiving Brunch will be available on from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., which will include a delectable buffet. $68 for adults, $28 for kids 5-12 years old.
- The Chez Philippe – Dinner will be served from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will feature a four-course meal including dessert. $75 per person.
- Capriccio Grille – This Thanksgiving Day meal will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The restaurant will serve a three course meal and will cost $36 for adults and $16 for children, 12 years old and younger.
2. Terrace at the River Inn – If you’d like to take in sweeping views of the Mississippi River while dining on delicious Thanksgiving-inspired food after moving to Memphis, then make a reservation at the Terrace. For $39 per person, you will receive a three-course meal including soup, salad, filet mignon, roasted turkey, and pumpkin bread pudding.
3. Eighty3 – Looking for a traditional Thanksgiving meal after making the move to Memphis this year? Check out Eighty3 for a carved fried turkey entrée that will be accompanied by ginger-whipped sweet potatoes, collard greens and hearty gravy for $27.
