In recent news, directly following the Cincinnati Zoo incident involving the beloved gorilla named Harambe, the local Memphis moving company spoke with some of the officials at the Memphis Zoo in regard to the safety precautions in place to prevent something like this from occurring at the Memphis Zoo.
Representatives from the Memphis Zoo stated that they do have safeguards in place, and that each safety feature is dependent upon the specific type of animal in each exhibit. Some of these features include moats and water features, while other features are more technical.
All My Sons Memphis report that a lot of the walls are slanted and backwards so the animal cannot go back up into it. The Memphis Zoo has also implemented “hot-wire” fences which are essentially shock fences that don’t hurt the animal, which allow for the animals to know when they need to back up. Representatives from within the zoo stated that, when it comes to visitors, safety is the utmost priority.
Here at All My Sons Memphis, we put safety at the foremost of all our moving endeavors and appreciate all of the local Memphis businesses that also hold these values. If you are interested in a full service moving experience, call your local Memphis moving company today!
