Archer-Malmo Makes “Best Places to Work” List

Memphis’s Archer-Malmo is making headlines.

Memphis Daily News reports that the local, popular advertising agency Archer-Malmo made Ad Age’s 2014 list of “Best Places to Work”.

The list by the trade publication took into consideration: compensation, benefits package, hiring practices, and work-life balance. It also considered special perks; such as: meals, gym access, and transportation reimbursement. In order to create their list, they surveyed over 20,000 employees at the individual companies, finding out how they feel on a daily basis at their job; from the minute they walk in the door to the minute they leave. Their survey gave them a top 40 list.

Ranking number 33, with 148 employees, Archer-Malmo is said to be a fun and informative environment. With a masseuse that comes twice a month, games, activities, and a much appreciated CEO, one employee described working at Archer-Malmo as, “unlike any I’ve ever experienced or even heard of.”

Being ranked as one of the best places to work in the United States is not the only recognition that Archer-Malmo is receiving. According to their website, they have also ranked as one of the “Top 10 Agencies for Startups”, ranked in Inc. magazine’s 33rd annual Inc. 500|500: a ranking of the nation’s fastest growing private companies, won two “Best of” awards and nine gold awards at the 2014 Memphis ADDY Awards, won three gold awards at the 2014 District 7 Regional American Advertising Awards, won five awards at the 2014 PRSA Memphis VOX Awards, won silver National American Advertising Award, and MORE!

If you are moving to Memphis and are experienced in advertising, marketing, PR, communications, and B2B, Archer-Malmo recently grew by 20 percent, with 17 new hires, so try your luck and apply to one of the nation’s best places to work!
