January Events in Memphis

The holidays are behind you and you are officially settled into your new home after moving to Memphis. It’s time to get out see what your new city has to offer and All My Sons Moving & Storage wants to help! Here are some January events in Memphis that our local moving company doesn’t want you to miss!

AutoZone Liberty Bowl, January 2 – Put your game face on after making the move to Memphis and head to the Arkansas vs. Kansas State football game at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. Kick-off is at 2:20 p.m. and tickets are now on sale.

Elvis’ Birthday Celebration at Graceland, January 7-10 – Celebrate the King of Rock ‘n Roll during his birth week at Graceland. Graceland is located just south of Downtown Memphis and festivities will include the debut of a new VIP exhibit, an artifact auction, dance party and an Elvis Birthday Proclamation Ceremony.

Repticon Memphis Reptile & Exotic Animal Show, January 23 & 24 – On Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Landers Center will be hosting Repticon Memphis for the its 6th annual reptile and exotic animal expo. There will be vendors selling rare reptile pets, reptile food, supplies, cages and more. Even if you don’t plan on buying anything, this show is educational and family-friendly. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. Children under 5 are free.

International Blues Challenge, January 26-30 – Submerge yourself in a week’s worth of blues acts in the Beale Street Entertainment District after moving to Memphis. A week-long pass is $100 and will get you into over 200 different blues acts from across the world that are competing in the challenge. This is the largest gathering of blues acts in history, so if you’re a blues fan you won’t want to miss it.
